The New Team – YHAI, Palakol Unit
Youth Hostels Association of India, Palakol unit has its triennial elections on Sunday, 24 November 2024. I have been associated with the Youth Hostels of India, Palakol unit since 2007.I went to a trek then with my friends Mr A V Subba Rao, Sri S S S S Sarma, and Sri G Sairam. It was the famous Seshachalam trek. We were completely isolated from civilization, cell phones, and electricity for a week. I enjoyed the trip. It was a memorable one. The trek tested our physical limits and took us through spiritual paths on which sages like Tarigonda Vengamamba walked. We were very close to nature. Our basic necessities were provided by the well-trained team of YHAI. In the last team, I was given the responsibility of holding the post of Organizing Secretary. In the present team, I am made as Secretary. I thank the unit for having faith in me and for giving me this opportunity. Here are some images of the event including press-clippings.
